The ongoing travel ban worldwide has sent major airlines and hotels in a major huddle to retain their loyalty program members, especially amongst their highest-spending customers.
AIRLINES AND HOTELS ARE GOING AN EXTRA MILE TO RETAIN TOP SPENDERS

Hospitality majors such as Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt are ensuring that their customers make most of their perks. Hilton has extended the Hilton Honors elite status through March 2022, Marriott Bonvoy through February 2022, and World of Hyatt’s tier membership through February 2022. The companies are also delaying the expiration of earned rewards —such as suite upgrades, club access and free-night certificates—to the end of 2021.
