The Italian luxury fashion brand, Versace, set up by the late Gianni Versace and his sister Donatella, is also known for something beyond fashion. The absolutely decadent and stunningly beautiful hotels under the brand name Palazzo Versace, a Preferred Hotels & Resorts member. Hotelier India had the opportunity to review one of the two Palazzo Versace hotels anywhere in the world, which feature spectacular architecture and waterfront properties infused with classic Italian design aesthetics.
Of the two, the Dubai property is the newest, at least newer than the Gold Coast one. It also happens to be one of Emirate’s most opulent and glamorous property. A £500 million neo-classical palace built on the banks of Dubai Creek, the hotel took over 10 years to build.
Donatella Versace’s ode to royal Italian lifestyle, this extravagant hotel in the centerpiece of The Culture Village. A vibrant district six miles north-east of downtown, it includes a mall, marina and a museum of modern art, all connected by nearly four miles of waterfront walkways.
