How To Pack Like A Fashionista

1 A suitcase that’s half-full

“I like to shop overseas ’cos that’s when I’m relaxed and have the time to buy things. But I try to find things that we don’t have here. When I was in my 20s, I used to take along absolutely everything and I looked like an ant with a giant bag,” quips the petite Australian-Chinese DJ, 32. “Now, I take just one hour to pack. I always travel with a big suitcase ’cos I’m a big gift-giver. I’ll bring gifts for my friends and family if I’m visiting them, and leave some space in my suitcase to pack more gifts for people back in Singapore.”

2 Shoes and clutches in neutral hues

“I always travel with two pairs of heels and two clutches, one black and one nude. They are easy to match with any outfit. I also pack clothes that are mostly black. Black clothing usually travels really well. You don’t have to iron it, but it makes you look neat and clean. I usually take clothes that I can just throw on without ironing, in case the hotel I’m staying at has no ironing board.”

3 Jumpsuits
