AVID hunter Ty Powell’s first try for a gator could’ve been his last when he found himself grappling with a powerful, 13-foot monster weighing nearly 800 pounds.
Luckily for him, the 28-year-old had good help — he was with four experienced hunters: Adam Steen, Bubba Steen, Kent Britton and Eli Frierson.
It took the five of them four hours to land the beast and nearly another one to get it into the boat.
