Relationship coach Iona Yeung reveals the body language signs to look out for!

IF HE’S DEFINITELY INTERESTED

Wondering if you should make a move? Iona says to look for these telltale clues. ‘If someone is interested in you, they’ll lean into you in a conversation,’ she explains. ‘They’ll look for any excuse to make physical contact – even if they’re shy. For example, if you’re sitting on a bus and your knees are touching, they won’t move away. Also look for eye contact. Their eyes will literally light up when they see someone they’re attracted to.’

Mirroring is also a dead giveaway. ‘If someone is into you, he might mirror your body language,’ adds Iona. ‘If you have your arms crossed, he might do the same.’

IF HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU

While your date could simply be nervous, acting distracted could also be a red flag. ‘Someone who’s not really into you may have his attention elsewhere,’ Iona reveals. ‘They may seem distracted and not really present. You might find them checking their phone a lot as well.’
