JULIA ROBERTS and her husband Danny Moder seem to be on great terms. Their love story seems to be one made in heaven. However, the reality is something entirely different. Julia was Danny’s side-chick and their extramarital relationship ultimately destroyed Danny’s four-year marriage to Vera Steimberg back in 2001. Although a lifetime has passed since, it’s still something which haunts Julia – and the guilt doesn’t seem to go away.

Now, a close friend of the actress is speaking out about the affair which ‘almost ruined her life’. “She had a crush on Danny from the moment they met and she went after him in a big way,” the friend admits. The problem was, however, that Danny was married and Julia was dating Benjamin Bratt. However, when news of the affair broke, Vera’s life came crumbling down.

Naturally, the world turned against Julia. She was branded a ‘homewrecker’ and her reputation was completely tarnished.
