Are the duchesses closer than we thought?

Kate Middleton & Meghan Markle - The Truth About The Royal Sisters

Buckingham Palace has been very busy over the last year. Busy making headlines, that is. One of the biggest has been about the feud between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, but insiders are saying it’s all just rumour – that in fact, the girls are closer than many would believe.

While the late Princess Diana and her sisterin-law Fergie had their fair share of drama over the years, the situation between the new duchesses isn’t quite the same say insiders, despite what people would like to believe.

Sure, they’re very different, but heck, so are Harry and William – and they’re brothers by blood. While the world would like to believe the competition between the ladies is tense, sources say there’s no reason to compete – the one knows she will be queen, and the other is just enjoying married life and awaiting the arrival of her first baby. “Women, in particular, are constantly pitted against and compared with each other in a way that reminds me of how people tried to portray Diana and me all the time as rivals, which is something neither of us ever really felt,” Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, wrote in February. And no, that wasn’t aimed at the Duchesses as many would like you to believe. Prince Andrew’s ex-wife was talking about her own dramatic saga between her and the late Princess Diana. The tension between Diana and the duchess of York was clear for all to see. And they didn’t hide their feelings either.
