“Muay Thai is a combat sport from Thailand that is a form of striking martial arts,” reveals Kunal Sharma. “It involves attacks of the legs, elbows and fists from a long range as well as short range. This sport requires one to have ace athletic qualities as well as excellent neuromuscular coordination.”
Muay Thai is also called the ‘Art of Eight Limbs’ as it uses swift punches, kicks and knee strikes with eight points of contact, as opposed to two points and four points in other combat sports like kickboxing and savate.
