GH: NED AND OLIVIA RENEW THEIR VOWS

Love — and a little bit of chaos — is in the air when a cross-section of Port Charles citizens gather at the Quartermaine mansion to celebrate Ned and Olivia’s vow renewal.

According to Ned’s portrayer, Wally Kurth, the groom sees the ceremony as a fitting way to mark the official end of Ned and Olivia’s protracted estrangement. “It makes sense to him, like, ‘It’s been a year that we’ve been apart.’ I think there is a part of Ned that is very demonstrative, naturally, and theatrical, maybe because he was a rock star or something. Some people would hate the idea of being remarried or renewing their vows, but I think Ned does find that demonstrative vow of love and commitment to be important, and he likes that old-fashioned idea of marriage and weddings, so he feels like, ‘Let’s make it official and tell the world that once again, we are back on track.’ ”
