How to be the BEST HOSTESS
Luckily, stylist and author of Every Night of the Week Lucy Tweed is on hand to share her advice for how to be the host with the most this festive season, no matter what your gathering looks like.

“‘Let’s just make it a casual Christmas/ get together/picnic’ is the most common phrase I mutter in our house when we start talking about plans for the holidays,” says Tweed. “Don’t worry, it never is. It’s a very false but calming narrative. I get incredibly excited anticipating a party.”

THEME

The perpetual cycle of gatherings can become weary when they just feel like another random catch-up with a motley crew of friends or family.

Always give any event you host a purpose. It’s easy to slap a “Christmas party” label on everything based around this time of year, but maybe you can give it different energy by calling it a “summer sparkler” or cheekily “GTFO COVID-19”. But you do you. You can also use your party moniker to influence the where and when.
