The local stars are bringing their young family back to Australia for an extended stay

It’s been almost a year since Lara Worthington came home from her base in Los Angeles, but the Aussie star’s upcoming trip might not be her usual fleeting visit. The 33-year-old is set to return to native soil with husband Sam, 44, and their three children while he takes on a role in the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of Appropriate.

The actor is set to star in the dark comedy at the Roslyn Packer Theatre in Sydney in March next year, with the show’s production schedule likely to see the Worthington clan in Australia for an extended period of time. “I’m excited Sam Worthington will be joining the cast of Appropriate,” shared the play’s director, Wesley Enoch. “He’s a great homegrown talent and it will be great to see him on our stages again.”
