As Hughie in The Boys, Jack Quaid firmly crossed into comic book territory – but as Ensign Brad Boimler in Star Trek: Lower Decks he became part of a sci-fi legend. Two years on, he still can’t quite believe it, being a fan himself. “Oh my god. It’s my main genre,” he grins. “I’m completely mainline sci-fi. The fact that I get to be a part of Star Trek, like, the science fiction franchise, I’m still excited about it.”
He’s set to tackle Ghostface in the rebooted Scream next year, and has recently been cast as the lead in animated series My Adventures With Superman. But there’s another big franchise he has his sights on…
