At a glorious manor house in Buckinghamshire, which has been turned into a lavish Harrogate hotel, TV Times has been transported back to the 1920s. Anna Maxwell Martin, playing author Agatha Christie, is singing Yes! We Have No Bananas beside a piano while hotel guests take their afternoon tea.

We’re on set for Sky Arts’ Urban Myths, which this week takes a wry look at the queen of crime’s famous 11-day disappearance in 1926.

As the episode begins, Agatha goes missing following the breakdown of her marriage to cheating husband Archie Christie (Downton Abbey’s Rob James-Collier). While the police scour the country for her, fellow crime authors Arthur Conan Doyle (Bill Paterson) and Dorothy L Sayers (Rosie Cavaliero) turn detective themselves and track Agatha down to Harrogate, where she is hiding out under an assumed name.
