Six weeks after he was knifed to death, Shakil is laid to rest. It’s the Kazemis’ chance to say a final farewell to their beloved family member, but while dad Umar and brothers Kush and Darius throw themselves into arranging the funeral, mum Carmel is in a world of her own. She fails to show up for a meeting with undertaker Jay to discuss her son’s send-off, and is instead fixated on the youth club she has set up to get local youngsters off the streets.
