The new year couldn’t have got off to a worse start for learner driver Faye, who was at the wheel of dad Tim’s car with tipsy Emma in the passenger seat when she hit a pensioner, Ted, who stepped into the road without looking… and he then popped his clogs at home.
Desperate to avoid going back to prison for failing to report the incident, Tim’s daughter has tried to cover up the sorry saga. However, a combination of Emma’s conscience and copper boyfriend Craig’s inquisitive mind are taking their toll.
And with the pressure mounting this week, she tells Craig the truth – that Ted’s demise is her fault.
