TOM KERRIDGE BARBECUES THU / FOOD NETWORK / 9PM & 9.30PM / EPS 3-4 of 12 / COOKERY
Tom Kerridge has been making the most of lockdown.
‘The weather has been great, so one of the bonuses of lockdown has been spending more time at home with the family in the garden,’ says the Michelin-starred chef, 47, who was quick to indulge his passion for outdoor cooking, leading to his current 12-part series on Food Network, Tom Kerridge Barbecues.
Showing viewers how to make some of his favourite dishes, from Middle Eastern chicken kebabs in last week’s opening episode to delicately spiced fish, Tom shares his tips and recipes to raise the humble barbecue to another culinary level.
‘Who doesn’t like outdoor food? Sunshine and the sound and smell of food cooking…’ exclaims Tom.
Here, he shares his BBQ secrets…
Perfect timing for a show, Tom!
I know – we’ve been so lucky with the weather! We shot the whole show at the bottom of my garden in Marlow, which was great. I want to show fabulous BBQ styles and techniques that are mostly aimed at beginners.
