THE FANTASTICAL FACTORY OF CURIOUS CRAFT

NEW SUNDAY / C4 / 8PM / EP 1 of 6 / LIFESTYLE

Keith Lemon – resplendent in a multicoloured Vivienne Westwood boiler suit and huge hat – is beaming from ear to ear when he greets TV Times by a purple door, ready to show us the set of his new C4 series, The Fantastical Factory of Curious Craft.

‘Allow me,’ says Keith, proudly swinging open the door and ushering us on to the most surreal ‘factory’ floor we’ve ever seen, with pink, blue and neon-green walls and sparkly signs such as ‘Make Craft, Not War’ and ‘Blood, Sweat, and Glitter’.

Brightly coloured industrial pipes pump out steam and confetti, while a human clock (a person clad in black Lycra with a huge clock face over their head) wanders casually around today’s four competitors who are busy making things atop trestle tables, known as their ‘creation stations’.
