Control freak Kim Tate isn’t quite so on the ball these days, thanks to a mystery saboteur poisoning her posh brandy with diazepam. And when an intruder walks into Home Farm this week, she’s so panic-stricken that she picks up a shotgun and fires at the unsuspecting visitor.
Kim knows that Gabby has been taking advantage of her befuddled state to con money out of her, but she hasn’t yet discovered that there is more foul play going on under her roof, and wonders if her confusion may be the early signs of dementia.
Struggling with her secret fears, she lashes out at her pregnant protégé, who vows to Noah that she won’t be pushed around any more. Meanwhile, she faces a mutiny from Al and Jai, who are fed up of their colleague messing up.
