George & Amal, Brace Yourselves!

Nappies, bottles and sleepless nights – life’s about to change for the Clooneys when their twins arrive in June

George & Amal, Brace Yourselves!

FIRST came love, then came marriage – now they’re in the market for a double buggy carriage! Life as the Clooneys knew it is about to change forever: twins are on the way and chaos will be calling.

Gone are those carefree days on Lake Como in Italy, the ease with which they flitted around the world, his spotless white shirts, her unfurrowed brow...

Of course, when one of you is a Hollywood heart-throb and the other is a hotshot lawyer you can afford to hire the best childcare to mind your munchkins – but something tells us Amal will want to do most of the mommying herself when she isn’t tackling grave matters in court.

And George – well, can you imagine him being anything but a hands-on dad?

Rumours that Amal (39) might be expecting started a few weeks ago. Was that a baby bump under her floral Dolce & Gabbana shift dress, onlookers at a charity event asked. The reed-slim human rights lawyer was definitely looking a little bigger in the belly department, gossipmongers said. She was pregnant – she had to be.

Nah, others said – she probably just had a bread roll with her lunch.

But there was no stopping the rumour mill, especially after she was seen leaving the airport with gorgeous George (55) just ahead of her, warning the paparazzi to keep their distance. Seems the protective instinct had already kicked in.

The Money Monster actor wore a light polo shirt and jeans while his Lebanese born wife was uncharacteristically covered up in a sweater and heavy coat. Was it a bulwark against the crazy weather in Hollywood last month – or could it be because she was almost five months pregnant?
