WHAT MAKES IT SO SNAPPABLE?

It’s not just a hotel, it’s a whole darn island in the middle of almost unreal Bombay Sapphire-turquoise water. Villas lead straight onto the beach, and are surrounded by lush tropical wildlife—and you also get your own infinity pool! Oh, and an outdoor shower and bath.

Each room also has a fridge that is replenished twice daily with mini bottles of champagne. You don’t even have to worry about departing to a huge bill as everything you eat and drink on the island is included. Then there’s the pool bar, which overlooks the ocean and has floating lounge beds you can recline on while the brilliant bar men rustle you up cocktails based on your favourite spirit (because reading the menu would be just too taxing). Or the spa, which you reach by stepping stones over a serene lily pond. There’s cut-glass floors everywhere— including just below your massage table, so while you’re being pummelled into serenity, you can check out the mini-sharks swimming below you.

THE MONEY SHOT

This place is paradise and even if you do get bored of the island itself, there are daily excursions to keep you (and your camera) occupied. Traditional Maldivian fishing at sunset, anyone? You can snorkel and learn to dive here (it’s up to you if you want to share an Insta snap of you in a wetsuit with the world).
