Reinvention in beauty symbolises a brand's willingness to learn and adapt to the demands of today. For a house with a legacy like Guerlain's, and the iconic products to match, they have fully embraced the concept wholeheartedly, reimagining their classics to better suit the needs of modern consumers and their lifestyles for comfortable wearability.
This time, the house has reworked their signature Météorites Powder of Pearls under the guidance of Creative Director of Makeup Violette Serrat, who first came across the product as a child. "My connection to Guerlain started with Météorites when I was a kid and I could see Météorites on every woman I knew, so it is a very symbolic product to me," says Serrat. "What a dream to been able to work on it!"
First launched in 1987, the powder was initially created to combine all powders in one. And this year, the reworked formulation comprises 95 per cent of naturally-derived ingredients to enhance makeup, correct the complexion, mattify the skin and smooth the skin's texture.
