PUTTING YOUR NECK OUT
Find yourself checking your phone every 12 minutes? (It’s the average number of times we check our phone*.) All that scrolling could be having an effect on your neck and décolletage. Dubbed “tech neck”, it’s caused, in part, by repeated head tilting to check our screens. “There is a growing concern about the additional strain on the neck and décolleté area in today’s social media age,” says Shelly Petersen, a national trainer at Babor Cosmetics. “Constant minor movements to check our screens weighs on the skin, causing the neck to fold and wrinkle, which can increase premature ageing.”
