Tell us a bit about your brand and your journey so far. How did it originate. An accessory update for every woman’s wardrobe, Immri offers state-of-the-art bags and accessories for women. We craft artisanal accessories that stand apart due its unconventional design mandates and best in class craftsmanship. The design process unravels into timeless pieces in the finest of materials that bear high-quality detail with beautifully designed interiors. While Immri combines the modern with the traditional in a free-spirited design aesthetic, the pieces have a global appeal yet remain profoundly Indian. Immri is best known for its signature belt bags and strap bags.

We didn’t enjoy carrying the bags and accessories available, so we made something ourselves. We wanted to make something that is fun and can be treasured. We started building on and prototyping with this pool of ideas that we had collected. It was really interesting to combine our cultures and aesthetics to see what comes out of it.

The journey so far has been a ride. The acceptance and appreciation is quite overwhelming. We learn something new every day. When we see people wear our bags and the value we have been able to create for them, that feeling is priceless.

How does your brand differentiate from its competition? Primarily, by embracing experimentation. That is also the key for us to keep innovating. Also the wide range of options that can be created by mixing and matching give us an edge.
