A few months ago, it took a quiet conversation amidst the bustle of the Jaipur Literature Festival to uncover a simple truth. Shakespearean scholar James Shapiro from Columbia University explained that the great Bard continues to be relevant because, at the core of it, we haven’t changed that much over the last 400 years.
