The second Life Positive Expo in Coimbatore received a rapturous response from all of the South
Ah Coimbatore! What a city, what weather, what a venue and what participants! A perfect blend of all the ingredients needed to create a successful Life Positive Expo. And the Life Positive Expo 2016 in Coimbatore was just that; a grand success.
Cool breeze caressed our faces, tall coconut trees swayed gently and contentedly, and well spaced dainty houses and shops stood elegantly by the roadside as we sped past them to reach The Grand Regent where the two-day festival was to be held.
Our spirits got a lift the moment we stepped on the precincts of the tastefully constructed resort. Shining red bricks covered the ground, and a row of quaint but graceful little cottages lined the border of the property. Attractive shops, restaurants, a ball room, health club and spa exuded warmth and hospitality, making us feel relaxed and at home.
After a small inauguration ceremony, which comprised lighting the lamp by the organisers and facilitators, and a speech by the editor-in-chief Suma Varughese about the purpose, vision and philosophy of Life Positive, participants were ushered in their respective workshops.
