Festivals Are Reminders To Celebrate Life

We are celebrating the festival of Diwali this month. What does it mean to us? It is just a day on which certain rituals have to be carried out and we are thinking of only such things. It is a day of joy. We are busy cleaning the house and decorating it. But we have lost that sense of joy. The feeling does not come. We are too engaged in our own thoughts. So we cannot free ourselves and participate fully in whatever is there.
