Persian pearl earrings and bracelet to wear on those long hot balmy nights designed by The Bead Company of Victoria.
DESIGNER’S NOTES
Success with multi-row and link projects depends on the exactness of the sizes of the components. Remember that when you cut chain, you lose one link each time, so the Components List allows for this. When cutting chain for tassels or matching sections, measure and cut one of each group then count links of that piece and cut the rest the same; keep each group on a separate eye pin so that they don’t get mixed.
BRACELET STEP ONE
Centre Row: Thread 1 Flower Spacer, 1 Coin Pearl, 1 Flower Spacer onto an Eye Pin; trim to 8mm and make a loop. Repeat three times.
STEP TWO
Cut four pieces of Thick Chain at 2.5cm each. Cut four pieces of Fine Chain at 2.5cm each. Make sure both pieces are the same in length by hanging ends from an Eye Pin. After cutting one piece of each type of chain, count the links on each piece – then cut three more of each type the same.
STEP THREE
Open 3mm Jump Ring, slip on one end link of each chain and one end loop of a Coin Pearl section, close ring. Repeat, joining Coin Pearls and double chain with 3mm Jump Rings. With 4mm Jump Rings, join each end to centre loop of 3 hole Bar End.
