‘I’ve acquired a lot of the furniture over many years and it just so happens it all fits well in my new home. One of the things I sourced recently, however, was the dining table as I needed something to fill the bigger space. My previous table would have looked ridiculous here! I found this three-metre-long antique table on eBay and matched it with antique chairs from Kempton Market.’

2 “Choose colours that feel soothing”

‘I didn’t want bright-white walls, and I found this shade through trial and error – I put so many samples on the walls! It looks different in every light and has a slight green tint to it, which felt right as my schemes include lots of relaxing neutrals and natural, earthy tones.’
