HOW CARYN AND SIMON DID IT
‘Our twins share this bathroom, as Simon and I have our own en suite. They needed a shower in here, as did our constant stream of house guests, plus the roll-top’s taps leaked and the decor just felt outdated. The builders ripped everything out, then prepared the floor and new plumbing for the shower. There was only one place to fit it, and the bath, but we chose the positions of the loo and basin to maximise floor space. I did lots of research to find the right fittings, although Erin chose the floor tiles!’
