Every year in April the world’s design community descends upon Milan for the Salone del Mobile – aka the Milan Furniture Fair. It’s largest trade fair of its kind and is the ultimate reference point for anyone working in the design, architecture and interiors industry. It’s also often the starting point for decorating trends, which in the following few years will filter down into the retail stores we all shop at. During this week, the whole city comes alive with the most incredible design-related events and exhibitions. And there’s plenty more design to discover throughout the rest of the year, too.
