ASUS TUF GAMING F15 (2022)
TUF notebooks of the past either notably felt second-grade to their ROG cousins and/or had a price point that wasn't as competitive.
The 2022 TUF F15 has upgraded specs which include Intel's 12th Gen Alder Lake processors, NVIDIA'S RTX 30 series GPUs, a MUX switch, plus a more robust thermal module for higher power settings. In addition, the TUF Gaming series has received an external makeover, featuring a lighter and more compact chassis, improved 1/0 and various screen options.

The TUF F15 is one of the sturdiest gaming laptops I have come across thanks to its MIL-STD-810H certification. Like the 2021 model, it is made of a combination of aluminum and plastic, and feels very solid. At 354 x 251 x 25mm, it is narrower and shorter than the 2021 model, but slightly thicker and 200g heavier at 2.2kg.
Lots of ports on this one.
For connectivity, ASUS has redesigned the port selection on the TUF F15. You'll now get a Thunderbolt 4 port, a Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2 port (DisplayPort 1.4), a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, a Gigabit LAN port, a HDMI 2.0b port, a 3.5mm audio jack and DC power input.

AN ATMOSPHERIC ATTEMPT
Taking on a remake of Konami's classic Silent Hill 2 was always going to be a daunting task. Enter Bloober Team, the studio behind other psychological horror titles like The Medium and Blair Witch. While those were solid efforts in their own right, Silent Hill holds a special place in the hearts of horror fans, and any attempt to update it was bound to be scrutinized.
