When the opportunity came for Puan Sri Toh Ee Siew to combine her love for Nordic Walking and community service, she did not hesitate.
The first thing that struck me when I first met Puan Sri Toh Ee Siew at a social event was how fit she was—she looked amazing. With her lean figure, toned arms and straight posture, this mother of four young adults maintains an exercise routine comprising yoga and going to the gym three times a week, in addition to her daily Nordic Walking regime. In short, this is a woman who is absolutely healthy. “My children think that I am in better shape today than I was in my youth,” she says with a laugh.
An Alor Setar native, Puan Sri Toh is a former life insurance trainer who became a full-time wife and mother after the birth of her children. Family had always come first for the wife of Tan Sri Kua Sian Kooi, who designs her life choices around the well being of her loved ones. When her children went abroad for boarding school, she relocated herself to London to watch over them.
