The 3rd edition of Australias only dedicated footwear and leather show, organised by IEC Group Pvt Ltd, will introduce a runway show and an online business matching program at the three-day trade event in Melbourne this November from 20 to 22, 2018.
Global Runway will showcase pieces from international brands, manufacturers and designers, and is set to capture the interest of Australia’s trade fashion buyers and commentators. Held on the show floor at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 20 – 22 November 2018 as part of Footwear & Leather Show Australia and co-located International Sourcing Expo Australia, Global Runway will provide a powerful platform for individual and exclusive design and brand messaging. The sophisticated and stylised catwalk format in a dedicated runway precinct offers an environment that is both inspiring and conducive to buying.
“The value of seeing products in-person hasn’t diminished in the industry, despite the rise of online wholesale and retail. We see Global Runway as a major drawcard for Australian trade fashion buyers and we are excited to be bringing this opportunity to our exhibitors as they look for new ways to present their product offerings,” Julie Holt, Exhibition Director, IEC Group Pty Ltd said.
Another new feature for Footwear and Leather Show Australia is a Global Business Matching program to fast-track the buyer/seller experience.
“We want to ensure there is every opportunity for exhibitors to make valuable connections while they are in Melbourne and we see Global Business Matching as an efficient and effective way to do this and reach more interested Australian buyers,” Holt said.
The program uses a powerful recommendation engine to match buyers and sellers. Exhibitors can connect with relevant buyers and attendees for private networking opportunities and to set up meetings at their stand or in a business matching lounge at mutually agreed times.
