Coming up Jarad was influenced by artists such as Chief Keef and Kanye West for their Chicago bred style. In 5th grade according to the show Before They Were Famous, it is reported that in attempts to impress a girl, he began to listen to pop, rock, and heavy metal. He combined those influences with some other early to late 2000’s HipHop, and other timeless genres to create a relatable sound that involved content surrounding love, heartbreak and loss. Juice was also able to teach himself to play the drums, guitar, and piano. He spent a lot of time moving from home to home which made him very open and social.
