KCR along with governor Tamilisai Soundararajan unveiled the 26-foot bronze statue of PV Narasimha Rao at PV Gnana Bhoomi on the banks of Hussainsagar on Monday as part of the closing ceremony of the year-long birth centenary celebrations of the former PM.
The chief minister said PV was a known reformist, who bailed out the country from a financial crisis. “He also ran the minority government for five years while introducing and implementing many welfare schemes,” the CM said.
