Hyderabad: Barely had the stench of dirty water that entered the Osmania General Hospital two days back subsided, when the hospital was inundated again on Wednesday, leaving hundreds of patients and attendants scrambling for a dry spot. The water that entered the hospital was mixed with sewer and flooded at least four wards on the ground floor of the old block. However, among the four wards only one had patients who were later evacuated by the disaster management staff.
The OGH is serving as the lifeline for non-Covid patients, taking the additional load after Gandhi hospital was converted into an exclusive Covid-19 hospital.
