Ciril Siqueira, who has a shack in Calangute, says this might indicate a good season to start. "The season has started and by this time we usually set up the shacks. The domestic crowd has begun coming in and this is a good beginning for us as shack owners. We are currently waiting for Diwali vacations when Goa will have a higher influx of local tourists. By then, our shacks will also be fully functional."
