SINCE Celtic Football Club was formed in 1887, charity has paved The Celtic Way as our supporters continually celebrate and participate in the charitable traditions of the club.
Today, this core founding principle, is upheld and developed by Celtic FC Foundation.
Via the regular giving initiative, Walfrid’s Wish, we invite supporters to continue the legacy of Brother Walfrid by becoming a Champion of Celtic FC Foundation, and making a monthly contribution to the advancement of our work.
Walfrid’s Wish donations to date have enabled us to deliver a variety of fantastic projects and supporters should be rightly proud of the positive impact they have made.
On April 17 - Brother Walfrid’s Anniversary - and on the back of another wonderful Community Lunch at Celtic Park, we were honoured to share updated news on the direction of Walfrid’s Wish, to build on that delivery.
“A football club will be formed for the maintenance of dinner tables for the children and the unemployed.” Brother Walfrid, November 6, 1887
