Brown back in black?

Antonio Brown is doing his best to distance himself from himself, all in the hopes of getting back into the NFL.

The troubled and bizarre wide receiver has gone on an apology tour of sorts that included an apparent telephone conversation with Raiders head coach Jon Gruden.

While Brown didn’t divulge the details of the chat, he did reveal that he is open to returning to the Raiders even as he takes them to court seeking to get the $30 million in guaranteed money that he lost when general manager Mike Mayock made the decision to release him without playing a single down for the team.

“I don’t know how it’s going to go but who knows,” Brown said on a Complex’s Load Management podcast. “If they want to bring it back, we’ll think about it.”

Raiders fans might cringe at the idea considering all of the drama that Brown brought. Things haven’t gotten much better since he went away either. There was an alleged assault on a moving company employee, a wild rant to police who had come to his house and countless ramblings on social media.
