Dave Gettleman has officially failed the franchise
The Giant Insider|October 18, 2020
That’s it. I’m done. I can no longer, in good conscience, “stick up for,” “wait and see,” or watch Dave Gettleman’s “plan” unfold before I declare that he has failed us. All of us. It is over, Giants fans.
Dave Gettleman has officially failed the franchise
Let us table the conversation about the offensive and defensive play-calling for now. Both are suspect and both are open to criticism. The Giants can’t cover a crossing route (they seem utterly confused by them) and on offense, they don’t take any shots down the field, even in the rare instance when young Daniel Jones has time to find a receiver.

But what needs to be discussed is the talent level of this roster, namely, the offensive line and the absolute lack of playmakers on this offense. This O-line is inexplicably WORSE than when Dave Gettleman was hired just over two years ago. This is Gettleman’s third iteration and it is an utter and complete embarrassment. I don’t know if it’s the coaching, the technique, or the talent, but based on the fact that there have been multiple coaches over the years, I’m guessing it’s the talent.
