Some of Reese's pieces have held up
And then there were four.

Yes, the last several years of the Jerry Reese era were painful to live through. As we have written seemingly hundreds of times over the last few years, Reese and his partner in draft futility, Marc Ross, preferred the shiny, skill position toys to the build-through-the-trenches, smarter selections.

But despite such draft ineffectiveness, there are four contributors on this team who have survived from the Reese/Ross Error, one of whom was already extended and two others who arguably deserve a second contract. So, while we have dissected the several Reese misses, here are the four players who were at least good enough to survive three separate coaching staffs as well as Dave Gettleman’s purge of Jerry Reese’s roster:
