When the 2017 season began, the Giants and Cowboys both had Super Bowl aspirations. The Giants’ dreams were finished by Thanksgiving, while the Cowboys are hanging on to a sliver of hope of a wild card spot. Both teams have been clouded by drama. The Giants with suspensions, players leaking rumors to the press about quitting, and the benching of Eli Manning. The Cowboys have dealt with the never ending saga of Ezekiel Elliott’s domestic violence suspension, the decline of Dak Prescott, and the soon-to-be heavyweight bout between owner Jerry Jones and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Both teams had embarrassing losses on Thanksgiving (But the Cowboys bounced back against the Redskins). The Giants will look to utilize the Kansas City Chiefs game formula of keeping the contest close and will work to get a few turnovers against the suddenly INT-prone Dak Prescott.
