All the iPhone you’ll ever need, without the Pro price

iPhone 12

Features A14 Bionic; 64, 128, or 256GB storage; 6.1–inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with 460 ppi pixel density; Ceramic Shield front; dual 12MP ultra–wide and wide cameras (rear); 12MP camera (front); Dolby Vision HDR video recording; IP68 splash, water, and dust resistant; MagSafe

Last year’s iPhone 11 was a great phone, but here was a time where the extra $300 of the Pro model was clearly worth paying for, with features people dearly wanted. Fast forward a year and things have changed with the launch of the iPhone 12. Yes, it’s $100 more than the price of the iPhone 11 when it came out, but that slightly increased price gets you a much more complete handset — so much so, there really isn’t any need to pay the extra $200 for the iPhone 12 Pro. Note that the standard model is more expensive this time round, but the Pro remains the same price, which is clearly a way to make the Pro a more tempting option.

But in our eyes, there really is no need to be tempted. Go ahead and save the cash, or put it towards the MagSafe accessories you can get with the iPhone 12 (more on those later). You see, unlike the iPhone 11, which lacked certain key features of its flagship sibling, the iPhone 12 has everything you could ever possibly need in an iPhone.
