I realised the importance of good skincare at a very young age, thanks to my long-standing battle with acne-prone skin. A teenaged me walked through the doors of Dr. Rekha Sheth’s skin clinic for my first-ever dermat appointment, admittedly for one of the only few treatments that has been super effective for me. Understandably, I was thrilled to find out that there now exists a Dr. Sheth’s range of products, that have been developed putting to use the years of experience that this family of dermatologists has gathered. I spoke to Dr. Rekha’s son, Dr. Aneesh Sheth to find out all about this newest skincare bounty...

STRAIGHT FROM THE EXPERT

Dr. Aneesh Sheth has a rich heritage when it comes to Indian skincare. He shares, “My grandad Dr. Sharat Desai and my mother Dr. Rekha Sheth are both dermatologists, with deep expertise in Indian skin. They would attend conferences to learn about research done in the West. Then, they would have to re-learn how to adapt that for the Indian skin, since the skin in our environment responds differently to most treatments.” This is the knowledge which he has filled into vials and now put out for people to benefit from.
