Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are usually inseparable. They’ve worked together since their teens and they live just three doors apart in leafy Chiswick in London. They even go on holiday with each other and their partners. But this week, they were facing very different fortunes.
Dec, 41, was enjoying a sunshine break to Italy’s Lake Como with his wife Ali Astall, the duo’s manager,while Ant, 41, was attending his first days in a rehab facility after bravely revealing he was battling addiction to prescription drugs and alcohol.
The tough rehab regime reportedly means Ant is cut off from the outside world and is banned from using his mobile phone. It seems he will be forced to spend time away from his wife of 11 years, Lisa Armstrong, and from his co-presenter.
