We’ve been flatmates for 10 months, and although I’d heard horror stories about friends living together, so far we’ve managed to avoid any petty squabbles. To most people, our living situation may seem a little unusual – not that there’s anything surprising about two friends living together, it’s just Cat is 41 and I’m a 43-year-old single mum.
