EASY DIET RESOLUTIONS for 2021

Do you find yourself setting unrealistic goals for the year ahead and then beating yourself up when you ‘fail’ or don’t reach them as quickly as you’d like? In 2021, you can avoid this trap and set smaller goals instead, which will not only help you to shed unwanted pounds, but will keep you focused and feeling better about yourself, too. After all, tiny changes can have a huge effect. Here, Healthspan nutritionist Rob Hobson talks us through the easy diet resolutions you can make and keep for the year ahead…

STOP FEELING GUILTY

Food guilt is often why people fall off the wagon during a diet. ‘They put all their faith in the fact that a certain diet is going to help them lose weight, then, when they have a binge, they give it all up and view their attempts as failure,’ says Rob. ‘Many of these feelings stem from how we feel about ourselves and past experiences, which may need to be addressed to get to the real root of the issues.’for 2021

ASK US ANYTHING

I'm single, and for ages I've had difficulty around sex with new partners. At first, I was just uncomfortable with penetration, but now it's painful, and I sometimes bleed. My best friend has been really great, encouraging me to relax and try different positions. But none of that's helping, and now she's saying I should see a doctor. But do I really need to? I'd rather sort this out for myself.
