Why go? Glorious weather and food delights aside, sicily has a rich history and cultural heritage that sets it apart from other mediterraneanislands. the mosaic of colour, from the turquoise sea to the sandy limestone e buildings, makes up just one side of this picture-postcard location – and there’s so much to see. plus, it’s only a three-hour flight from the uk.

SLEEP IN STYLE 

We stayed in the Sentido acacia marina, a short walk from the hotel’s private beach. From our balcony, we enjoyed sweeping views of the sea, peppered with palm trees and covetable holiday homes. The hotel’s quiet location – about 10 minutes’ walk to the village – made it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The poolside terrace was particularly lovely. Stay to finish your morning coffee or top off the evening with an aperol Spritz cocktail.
