Has The Ageism Row Gone Too Far?

Stick me in jail, I find myself guilty of an ‘ism’. Not sexism or racism, but ageism. According to Carol Vorderman, the language we use around older people is discriminatory and makes life after 50 seem horrendous. Apparently using phrases like ‘women of a certain age’ or ‘old git’ adds to that impression. I’m 52 and I use both of those phrases about myself!
