Geri talks talent shows and tears as she returns to our screens with a brand new singing competition

‘I'd Be Terrified To Audition!'

Since being propelled to fame as one-fifth of the Spice Girls, Geri Horner has never looked back. Having already ticked best-selling music star off her bucket list, Geri, 45, has now added TV judge to her showbiz CV, and this week is back on the box with brand new BBC singing show All Together Now. In the Saturday night series, Geri takes on the role of the Head of The 100 – a panel of music experts tasked with choosing which singers make it by standing up and joining in with them. Here, the mum-of-two tells us more about the series, ‘drunk’ dancing – and why she pretends people are in their underwear!

In All Together Now, your role is the Head of The 100. Have you enjoyed it?

I absolutely love it! The people who chose the 100 have done such an amazing job – all different personalities, all different walks of life and they’re lovely people.

What about working with the show’s presenter, comedian Rob Beckett?

I felt instantly connected to him. He’s got a very big heart and I’ve learnt a lot from his comedic timing. I haven’t got any! But he’s very clever and funny. And at the end, I feel like we’re a drunk couple at a wedding! I drag Rob on, going, ‘Come on, I want to dance! Dance with me!’

How do you think All Together Now compares to other talent shows?
